Our History
Founded in 1948 by Mike and Sandy Tusko, Tusko Sales & Service, Inc. was built on a clear vision to provide reliable sales and service for commercial food equipment throughout Northern Ohio. Mike recognized early on that success in this industry depended on more than equipment alone. It required strong relationships and genuine trust. Customers were never treated as numbers, but as hardworking people supporting their families and communities through the food industry.
In its early years, Tusko became a distributor for several respected manufacturers and developed a small but highly capable service team. This team handled equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repairs with a commitment to quality and dependability. When Mike retired, his son Malin Tusko took over the business, bringing valuable sales and service knowledge. Malin continued to strengthen the relationships his parents built while expanding the company’s reach and customer base.
After many successful years, Malin prepared for retirement and passed leadership to his nephew, Bill Casper, marking the company’s third generation of ownership. Bill brought a strong understanding of sales along with the drive needed to succeed in an increasingly digital and competitive marketplace. Under his leadership, Tusko grew into a team of knowledgeable and dedicated professionals serving customers in the meat processing, grocery, bakery, and convenience store industries.
Very recently, Tusko Sales & Service entered its next chapter of leadership while remaining family owned, as Kyle Roberson, the nephew of Bill Casper, assumed ownership of the company. Kyle brings a fresh perspective and renewed energy while continuing the family driven values that have guided the business for decades. Committed to integrity, strong relationships, and exceptional service, Kyle is focused on building upon Tusko’s legacy and positioning the company for continued success in a changing industry.
